Titus Vonk is a filmmaker / cinematographer driven by wanting to shed more light on the stories, which people usually donโt talk about. Titus has always been fascinated by the fact that everything in life has its own beautiful side; it doesnโt matter if itโs a person or an object. By addressing these sides, especially in lesser common things, Titus tries to make people think. In his movies he tries to show that by highlighting certain things in life; the world can somehow be changed into something more beautiful than it already is. His stories generally have a social undertone; while trying to discuss certain problems from different perspectives. With this fact, he hopes that more people empathize with the lesser known and, more important, 'less valued' standpoints in society. For example: stories about racism, climate and capitalism are all topics Titus tries to underline.
