Based in Rotterdam Chris aka Kid Nimbus is a (currently) 21 year old Alternative HipHop/Soul
artists that explores the more laid back world of Trap.
With his wordplay and the laid back instrumentals chaotic instrumentals provided by
his producer Monti Lรฉ Cristo. Showing contrast between his high energy personality
and his relaxed sound and mindset Nimbus truly creates an environment for true
vibers perfect for a sunset.
Growing up he was always surrounded by hiphop being his father playing or hearing
it in his surroundings.Since a young age Chris has always been very close to
creating music rather that be drumming in his church as a child or rapping since the
age of eight Nimbus has never been shy to express himself in artistic ways.Nimbus
said that his biggest musical influences have to be : Jdilla,Kendrick,three 6
mafia,Tribe called quest,Chance the rapper and Smino.
Nimbus has said that he has been rapping since the age of eight but only started
making music at the age of 15.โAfter that it was just trying to truly make something
that would mean something to me. I want to make something that i enjoy,past me
enjoys and old man me enjoys,hence my first albumโ.
