Jintra (currently 19) is a versatile rapper en producer from Groningen, The Netherlands. His creative lyrics paired with modern instrumentals cement his place in the new wave of underground Dutch rap artists. Starting from his bedroom, he recorded his first song at (just) 14 years old using an old iMac, GarageBand and a pair of earbuds. Since it was just him and his computer most of the time, he started making great progress in both his songwriting skills, as well as engineering and producing music. His discography ranges from low-energy, relaxed songs, crafted to make you think and reflect, to loud bangers made to shake up any venue or location. Heโs currently working on his (Dutch) debut EP, which is planned for the first quarter of 2023. His ambition to produce a project featuring artists from in and around Groningen goes hand in hand with his mission to bring the underground rap scene in Groningen to light.
Ratchet and Jintra met online, through Ratchetโs sister "LIESS" as well as their mutual friend "bbaby". The two were interested in collaborating from the start, prompting Ratchet to feature Jintra on his 2022 album โSeveredโ.
