Marcus Stenvert, also known as Krullenkop Media, is someone who loves being creative and refuses to
think within boundaries. His goal is simple: capture whatever he wants to capture and do what makes
him feel fulfilled.
He discovered the joy of creating images about seven years ago, and thatโs when his heart fell in
love with it. It all started with a passion for festival lighting, which slowly turned into a
photography hobby and eventually evolved into the art of videography and cinematography. This led
him to study the art of video, with the ultimate goal of making a living doing whatever makes his
heart beat faster.
Currently, heโs exploring the world of music artists as a photographer and videographer while also
working in commercials as an assistant across different departments. Heโs studying in Hilversum at
the Media Park, all while running his small company, Krullenkop Media. Through this, he works on
projects like aftermovies for companies and shoots for individual clients, including music artists
or people who simply need photos or videos.
Krullenkop Media started as a fun side project to commercialize his hobby, but through social media
like Instagram, it has become his personal creative dump. Here, he shares projects like Stuck in the
Backrooms, where he captures day-to-day life through liminal pictures, or his vacation photography,
known for its classic filmic colors. And, of course, thereโs his never-ending urge to shoot on
overpriced Polaroids.
