Lois Godeken is an artist from Rotterdam blending indie-pop with a wide variety of sounds and
influences. Not tied to a single genre, Lois creates music that reflects a spectrum of emotions and
experiences, aiming to help people feel seen and less alone. Since starting their music journey in
2022, Lois has consistently used their art to connect with others and explore personal truth through
sound.
The collaboration with Ratchet began online, after the two connected on TikTok and followed each
other for a while. Around Christmas, Lois reached out to Ratchet with the idea to work on a song
together โ which resulted in the heartfelt track Alone at Christmas. Their chemistry in that track
laid the foundation for more: a year later, Ratchet invited Lois to be part of a bigger project.
This led to several studio sessions and eventually a live performance.
